Labradorite is a feldspar mineral found in rocks such as bassalt, gabbro, and norite. The best specimens display a schiller effect, showing strong iridescent blue, green, red, orange and yellow colors. I chose this specimen for its unusual shape. It’s about 3/4” on the longest side, 1/2” wide, and 1/4” tall.
