Custom Engagement
Let me help take the pressure off. Buying an engagement ring at a jewelry store can be extremely overwhelming. Working with an independent jeweler makes the whole experience more enjoyable.
Design Process
What’s your vision for your custom piece? We’ll start there and discuss what’s possible. I specialize in casting, hand fabrication and faceted stone setting, but if your design requires something outside of my skill set, I’ll find the right person in my community to collaborate with. (for example, the heart pendant pictured above was a collaboration with hand engraving expert, CJ Calhoun)
Materials
I work with only heirloom quality materials. Whether sterling silver, gold or platinum, these metals are the only choice when creating jewelry meant to last. They can be maintained for generations to come or melted and repurposed into something new later.
Stone Selection
I can guide you through making the best decisions about gemstone(s) for your design. Beauty is always top of mind when creating a piece of jewelry, but LOTS of other factors should be considered. Was it ethically sourced? Does the hardness make sense for the wearer’s lifestyle? Does the price match the value? How will the stone need to be maintained through the life of the piece?
